The short version. Enjoy the site and share it with friends. Our games, art and writing belong to us, so please don't copy them. Game details may change before release, and the site is provided as it is. Hamster Oracle has its own terms.
Agreement
These terms apply to our website, twodudesandahamster.com, and our email lists, run by Two Dudes and a Hamster LLC ("we", "us"). By using the website or joining an email list, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the website. Our Hamster Oracle app has its own Hamster Oracle Terms of Use.
Our content
The content on this website, including our game names, card text, card art, artwork, logos, characters and writing, belongs to Two Dudes and a Hamster LLC or to the people who license it to us. You're welcome to view it and to share links or screenshots with friends for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, print, sell, or make games, products or other content from our games or art without our written permission.
Game details may change
Side Effects Are WHAT?! and our other games are still in development. Details shown on the website, such as player counts, play time, card contents and artwork, may change before release. A launch date, price or reward is set only when it's posted on the official campaign or store page. If you back one of our Kickstarter campaigns, Kickstarter's terms and our campaign page apply to your pledge.
Email lists
When you join an email list, sign up only with your own email address. You can unsubscribe at any time. We don't promise to send any particular update, or to send updates on any schedule.
Your ideas and feedback
We love hearing from players. If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, including ideas for cards or games, we may use them freely, without paying you or giving you credit. Please don't send us anything you want to keep private or own.
Using the website fairly
Don't misuse the website: no attempts to break, overload or get into parts of it you aren't meant to, no automated scraping or spam signups, and no signing up other people without their permission.
Links to other websites
The website links to other sites, such as Kickstarter. We aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
No warranty
The website and email lists are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Two Dudes and a Hamster LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the website or our email lists, and our total liability for any claim about them is limited to the amount you paid us for them in the 12 months before the claim (and they're free).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about them will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above, and continuing to use the website means you accept the new terms.
